Foto BU is a wedding photography and filmmaking duo based in Slovenia, just a few kilometres from the Italian border. Italy has always been part of our everyday life — from its landscapes and architecture to its food, culture and effortless way of living — so photographing weddings there feels like a natural extension of what we love.

We combine a documentary approach with an editorial eye, looking for genuine moments, natural movement and the details that make each wedding personal. Rather than directing every moment, we give couples space to experience their day while quietly observing and creating images with atmosphere, character and a sense of place.

As a photography and filmmaking duo, Urška and Matej work together throughout the day to create a cohesive visual story — from intimate preparations and quiet moments to the energy of the celebration.

Available for destination weddings throughout Italy and beyond.
