Pablo Laguia Wedding Photographer / 2020 Awards Judge!
We are so excited to have International Wedding Photographer Pablo Laguia as a judge for the 4th International Wedding Photographer of the Year Awards. Our team hunted far and wide, to discover diversity and talent in the wedding photography industry from all over the World. We have been following Pablo’s work for many years now and couldn’t resist the chance to have his vision and approach on board the judging team for these awards.
Pablo describes himself as a simple person who enjoys simple things and that in those simple things can be found the most beautiful things. Over the past 15 years he has worked across multiple genres of the photography industry, from documentary to fashion.
He certainly has a great eye for the spontaneous moments along with a rare ability to see light and the opportunity that light presents, in ways that many of us potentially miss. I know personally that when I look at his work and think about how I might approach those situations, I’m challenged to believe that I would or even that I could produce anything quite so beautiful. And this challenge is one we can all use to drive our creativity from time to time. Sometimes that challenge or learning comes from inspiration derived from other wedding photographers and at other times from artists of different kinds, from painters to writers and musicians.
