IWPOTY Q : How long have you been a professional photographer and how did it come to be your chosen profession? Did you work in other professions previously and if so what?

We never felt rushed or staged. There were so many small moments she captured for me that mean the world. Our only regret of the day was not getting a photograph with Brianna as well.

IWPOTY Q : What is your most favourite venue or location to shoot at and why that specific place ?
PHOTOGRAPHER: Olympic National Park. The diversity in landscapes is simply incredible. I could spend years there and feel as though I’ve barely scratched the surface. It’s one of those locations for me that moves me to tears almost every time I visit.
IWPOTY Q : What gear do you shoot with? (eg. Canon and Primes ABC) etc
PHOTOGRAPHER: Canon and Prime lens 24, 35, 50, and 85.
IWPOTY Q : What is the best tip you have ever received from another photographer or business owner? This could be a business related tip, technical advice, posing suggestion, camera setting, way to plan a shoot etc
PHOTOGRAPHER: Niche down. You can only make it so far if you’re competing with hundreds of other photographers who do the exact same thing you do.
